Bridge education and independence for ceramic artists in a growth-minded atmosphere by connecting artists to a community of resources while providing space and time to create.

Life after classes

You’ve already taken classes and you’re wondering where to go next. You may be looking at the high cost of equipment and wondering how anyone can afford to be an artist.

The real next step in artistry after classes is community. A place to share ideas, try new techniques, see how others approach problems, explore your voice and find the methods and equipment that work best for you.

For Artists by Artists

“I have a studio, why would I want to be a member of your studio?”

We are connecting new artists and experienced artists to share knowledge and build communities around different techniques, types of firings, and more. Being a studio/member allows you to find new students that want to learn your techniques. We also can provide you a backup to your kiln firings, help you service your equipment, or provide additional space for you to run classes or workshops. Let’s cultivate a rich pottery community here in Kitsap!

Membership Benefits

• Access to a studio with 8 wheels and 12 hand-building stations.

• Use of studio equipment including:

• Brent 24” slab rolling table

• Brent HD Extruder with a large collection of dies

• Wide variety of hand building tools and wheel tools

• A library of ceramic techniques and projects

• Glaze Kitchen and access to studio glazes

• Wet lockers, aprons and towels, even tool storage space!

The studio fires to Cone 10. You are welcome to bring known cone 10 clays and glazes of your own for use.
